    Why SyntropyLabs exists

    SyntropyLabs started because we were tired of shipping AI features and having no idea whether they were actually working. Manual spot-checking doesn’t scale. Logging individual calls doesn’t give you the full picture. And nothing existed that worked across text, voice, image, and video in one place.

    What we’re building

    A harness for AI agents in production: the SDK that instruments them, the traces that show what they did, and the evaluations that score it. One SDK call patches the LLM clients your code already uses, every span lands in a waterfall, and any trace can be evaluated, replayed or compared with another.

    The problem we kept hitting

    AI agents fail in ways that ordinary monitoring doesn’t catch. The app works in the sense that it returns a response, but the response is wrong, slow, expensive or unsafe, and you find out when a user tells you. We want AI teams to have the kind of signal APM tools already give the rest of the stack.
